At the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees, in the Haute Vallée d’Aspe, lies the cross-border skiable area of Le Somport-Candanchu. Located in the Pyrenees National Park, the resort of Candanchu perfectly combines top skiing with the discovery of the flora and fauna of the Pyrenees. You will come and ski in some of the best snow in the Pyrenees. The colourful resort of Candanchu offers a whole variety of pistes. The resort of Le Sompart-Candanchu offers 9 pistes for cross-country skiing with 34km of marked out trails, 25km on the French side and 9km on the Spanish side. The ski resort provides a wide variety of pistes designed for skating or alternative skiing, with runs ranging from white to black for beginners to advanced skiers. “La trace sans frontière”, a popular Franco-Spanish cross-country ski race, takes place every year on the slopes of the resort of Le Somport-Candanchu.
