You will be skiing on some of the best snow in the Pyrenees. The colourful resort of Candanchu offers a wide variety of slopes. The resort of Le Sompart-Candanchu offers 9 slopes for cross-country skiing with 34km of marked out trails, 25km on the French side and 9km on the Spanish side. The ski resort provides a wide variety of slopes designed for skating or alternative skiing, with runs ranging from white to black for beginners to advanced skiers. “La trace sans frontière”, a popular Franco-Spanish cross-country ski race, takes place every year on the slopes of the resort of Le Somport-Candanchu.
